Police and Fire Investigators have arrested a Bossier City man for allegedly phoning a bomb threat to the University of Phoenix in the Louisiana Boardwalk.

34-year-old Tanner Raney has been booked into the Bossier City Jail on a charge of communicating false information of a planned arson.  Investigators say Raney, who was a student at the school, was upset over an issue he had with school staff over financial aid.

After the threat was received last night, police and fire personnel evacuated about a dozen people from the school while they conducted a sweep of the building.  No devices were found and everybody was then allowed to return to the building.  Raney was arrested this afternoon following an investigation by the Bossier City Fire Department Bomb Squad and Bossier City Police.
