Upper-level management of the Bossier City Fire Department, including Fire Chief Brad Zagone, were out today shaking their boots for Muscular Dystrophy.

They set up shop at the busy intersection of Airline Drive and East Texas.  Communications Chief Andy Holly tells KEEL news Bossier residents have always been good about giving.  He predicts that 40-50-percent of Bossier motorists who pass a boot-shaking fire fighter will make a donation.

Bossier City firefighters are not the only ones you'll see out collecting between now and Labor Day.  Fire departments nationwide have adopted the Muscular Dystrophy Association as their favorite charity and they'll be collecting right up until the annual Labor Day Telethon.
