Bossier Business Goes Up In Flames

Just after 7:30 Monday evening, a fire broke out at the Performance Automotive and Transmission Center on Texas Street near Benton Road. Part of Benton Road and Texas had to be shut down while firefighters worked the scene. It took roughly 20 minutes to extinguish the blaze.

Authorities say the building sustained heavy damage. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
