The Shreveport Fire Department pulled the body of a Keithville man out of Twelve Mile Bayou after an apparent drowning Tuesday afternoon, and a strange video on the victim's Facebook may show the moments before his death.

SFD personnel were dispatched to Twelve Mile Bayou after a passerby noticed someone thrashing about in the water. The first crews arrived at around 4:25 PM, Tuesday October 11 and began to evaluate the scene. Within minutes, the Shreveport Fire Department Dive Team and Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit were able to pinpoint the victim’s location of disappearance. The efforts were changed from a rescue to a recovery after witness statements regarding last time victim was seen.

Captain Charlie Parker and crew were able to locate the body 30 minutes after entering the water. Divers reported finding the body of an adult male approximately 17 feet below the surface. The victim was identified as Levi Price, 27, of Keithville. It took the efforts of fifteen units, including twenty-four firefighters and six divers, fifty-seven minutes to recover the body from the time the call originated.

On Price's personal Facebook page, a live video was published presumably minutes before his death. In the video he talks about someone chasing after him. Right before the video ends, we hear him say that he has to go because "they're coming." Cindy Chadwick of the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office says that no one from the Sheriff's Department was looking for Levi before the accident and that he must have been running from someone from the casino, but there is no indications as to who that could have been.

The investigation into Price's death continues.

The family of Levi Price has put up a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses. You can access the page and donate HERE.
