BHP Billiton Petroleum Dedicates Shreveport Field Office

Seven BHP Billiton Petroleum field offices have now been consolidated into one and the big new building on East Preston Street in Shreveport is now open for business. CEO Michael Yeager says the company is here for the long-haul — just like the Haynesville Shale gas reserve that it’s tapping. The new 70,000 square foot Shreveport field office currently houses about 100 people but Yeager says it has the capacity for about 200 and can be expanded should the need arise in the future.
