SHREVEPORT, LA - North Louisiana is filled with so many great attractions for families to enjoy. If you are one of those who likes to plan a staycation, we have lots of choices for you to check out.

We've put together a list of some of the most incredible places and events in the Shreveport Bossier area and we wanted to know how many of these you have checked out already?

This is one of those lists that will help us remember how many great things we have3 in Shreveport Bossier. All too often we hear folks trash talking our community. But we have so much to offer. And I am sure I am leaving some key attractions off of this list.

There are lots of great things here and we often forget about that while mired in the negativity.

What Are Some of the Top Attractions in Shreveport?

While on a recent vacation, I started to think of some of the biggest attractions we have in the area. I didn’t include all the festivals and special events we have going on like Geek’d Con coming up this summer or Film Prize. We also have a symphony, a ballet and so much more. We are also home to one of the oldest college football bowl games with the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl. That event draws thousands to our community each year, as well.
