Barksdale Launches New Civilian Pay System

Barksdale Air Force Base is among the first in the country to implement a new standardized pay system for civilian employees. The Automated Time Attendance and Production System – or ATAAPS, for short – will eliminate the old paper time cards still used by some bases. It’s hoped the new system will save both time and money. The Army already uses it and the Navy is also looking into implementing it.
