Barksdale Fitness Center To Be Renamed In Honor Of Fallen Senior Airman Bryan Bell

The 2nd Bomb Wing at Barksdale Air Force Base is hosting a dedication ceremony in memory of Senior Airman Bryan Bell. Friday afternoon at 12:30, the fitness center on base will be renamed the Senior Airman Bryan R. Bell Fitness Center. Bell, a member of the 2nd Civil Engineer Squadron, was killed January 5th, 2012, by an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. The 2nd Bomb Wing Commander — Colonel Andrew Gebara — and Bryan’s sister, Senior Airman Candice Bell, will both speak at the event.
