My name is Dusty, and when introducing myself, I say that that’s my name, not my condition. (Yeah, nobody else laughs either.) I’m a native Texan; Terrell is my hometown, just like Jamie Foxx who’s way more famous. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a degree in Communications which essentially means I learned how to talk and not much else. My wife, Wynonne, and I have been married for a loooong time, and we have two daughters and a granddaughter in Tyler. We also have two cats who puke a lot, but isn’t that just what cats do? I’m somewhat of a geek: I love reading science fiction, watching Game Of Thrones, and solving New York Times crossword puzzles. Above all I’m a life-long Dallas Cowboys fan which means half our listeners automatically hate me. Dems da breaks.

You CAN Report Speeders To Shreveport Police
If you haven't figured it out by now, my pet peeve is bad drivers who don't follow basic traffic safety laws.

I'll take it a step further...
Amazon’s Purchase Of Whole Foods Could Mean No More Cashiers
Greek philosopher Heraclitus once said, "The only thing that is constant is change." In 1963 Bob Dylan penned his classic song "The Times They Are a-Changin'". But neither could have foreseen change on a scale and pace like we are witnessing in the Internet Age...

What Are The Job Prospects Like In Louisiana?
We've all been there. That murky, alternate universe of "between jobs." You fine-tune your resume, scour the job-listing sites, prepare for interviews--anything to get your foot in the door. It's even harder when most of the country continues to experience job growth, while Louisiana is losing jobs...

Personal responsibility comes with gun ownership. That fact was made abundantly clear today to two Calcasieu Parish residents.
On Monday, 7-year-old Gage Meche was accidentally shot with a gun brought to the school by another student. The gun discharged when one child picked up the gun when it fell out of the other student's backpack...
