Bryan Gibson has been in arrested in connection with Shreveport's first homicide of the year. The shooting happened in the 100 block of East Southfield Road around 7:15 Wednesday night.


According to police, Gibson was found near the scene of the crime and brought him for questioning. As the investigation progressed, detectives found the murder weapon and other evidence that connected Gibson to the crime.

Investigators believe that an argument between the victim and Gibson led to the shooting. Gibson has been booked on second degree murder charges.
