Police in Texarkana, Texas, were called out to Skate America on New Boston Road, in reference to a disturbance at approximately 10:30 p.m. Friday night. The officers found employees of Skate America detaining a 16-year-old black male. 

Moments earlier, the juvenile was being escorted out of the business by owner, 83-year-old Robert Webb, when the juvenile turned and struck Mr. Webb in his face with a closed fist, causing him to fall to the floor. 

According to witnesses, the juvenile had been causing problems inside the skating rink.

Mr. Webb was treated a local hospital, then transferred to a hospital in Hot Springs, AR, with injuries to his head.  The juvenile was also treated at a local hospital for a broken wrist.  He was arrested for Injury to the Elderly and turned over to juvenile authorities at the Bowie County Juvenile Detention Center.
