The Northwest Louisiana Autism Chapter's Third Annual Awareness Walk is this Saturday at A.C. Steere Park in Shreveport from 8:30 am until noon and you're invited.

Rhonda Spataro with the local chapter says just last year, Autism affected one in 110, today it strikes one in 88.  Spataro has a 21-year-old son, who is autistic. She's been involved with  Autism Awareness programs for years, raising money and helping with events that put autistic children together in a social setting. There's also a "Camp Rain Man" that kids can go to at no charge.
