A Shreveport-based live storytelling series returns with an event celebrating Women's History Month.

'All Y'all Live: Ladies Night' is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at the Woman's Department Club, located at 802 Margaret Place in Shreveport. With March being Women's History Month in the U.S., all stories during this event will be told by women.

According to a news release from Chris Jay with the Shreveport-Bossier Convention & Tourist Bureau, the evening will feature true stories, told live and without notes, from the lives and adventures of unforgettable women. Keep in mind, though, some strong language and adult references may be used, so it might be a good idea not to bring young children with you.

Storytellers expected to take part in the event are Theresa Anderson, Eman Bader, Malari Coburn, Sherry Jefferson, Annie Kendig, Maya Lau and Annie Mills. It also features music on ukulele by Alex Hester of Shreveport. A cash bar will be provided by Wine Country Bistro and Bottle Shop.

The stories told at All Y'all Live events are recorded, and select stories are released as episodes of the All Y'all podcast, hosted by producers Sara Hebert and Chris Jay.

Tickets to the event are $10 each and it's recommended you get them in advance. The program is expected to run two hours, with a brief intermission.
