A SPAR Summer Program Just For Seniors

Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation (SPAR) announces that its Senior Programs at designated community centers will continue during the summer months.  SPAR offers a myriad of programs and special events for senior citizens on a daily basis. 

Daily programs offer all seniors the opportunity to lead an active and fun lifestyle.  Seniors may participate in Choir, Senior Olympics, Arts & Crafts, Computer Classes, Chair Aerobics, Bowling, Wii Games, Ceramics, Quilting, Sewing, Games, Dancing and a multitude of other activities.  SPAR has a staff of 16 that works exclusively in senior programs and is dedicated to providing programs that improve our seniors’ quality of life.
