8th Air Force Gets New Commander
Major General Thomas Bussiere took command of the 8th Air Force Tuesday Afternoon. Before taking this position, Bussiere served as Deputy Director of Nuclear, Homeland Defense and Current Operations at the Pentagon.
The 8th Air Force is one of only 2 active duty Air Force Units in the Air Force Global Strike Command and has more than 20,000 Airmen.
