Duck Pond Cleanup Is This Saturday

Local residents are needed to help clean up the Duck Pond in Shreveport.

This Saturday, March 24th, at 8:30 am, a group of local volunteers will be cleaning up the duck pond, located on East Kings Hwy between Reily Lane and Shreveport Barksdale Highway.   You are invited to come out and help. Crews from the City will be on hand to assist with the removal of trash and invasive plants and animals and to reintroduce native flora. Bring your own gloves and gardening tools (handsaws, pruning shears, etc). If you want more info, contact Daniel Gehrig at 698-0057.
