4-Year-Old Boy Drowns in Swimming Pool in Caddo Parish

A four-year-old boy has drowned in Caddo Parish.

The child was found unconscious in a backyard swimming pool in the 9600 block of Dayton Road near Blanchard.

The boy was visiting a friend at that home. People at the home and emergency medical technicians performed CPR on the boy. He was airlifted to University Health, but was pronounced dead.

His name has not yet been released.
