Chelsi Hefner, who is Miss Shreveport 2013 as well as 2014 Miss Heart of Pilot, is hosting a golf tournament in support of Children's Miracle Network Monday, June 2 at Shreveport's Southern Trace Country Club.

The tournament is a four-man scramble, and it's $600 per team. Individuals can also sign up for $150.

Hefner herself is on the hunt to not only become the next Miss Louisiana, but possibly the next Miss America.

She had the following to say about the event:

My name is Chelsi Hefner and I am with the Miss Louisiana Organization. Hopefully you can help me out. I am interested in promoting a fundraiser on air with you guys either by way of announcements or an interview. I am hosting a golf tournament June 2nd in Shreveport, LA at Southern Trace Country Club. It is a 4 Man Scramble and the cost is $600 per team; $150 per person. You will find the event fliers attached to this email. The money raised during this tournament will go to local children who suffer from diseases and illnesses that are detrimental to their health and to their lives. The Children's Miracle Networks sponsors children's hospitals across our state and the nation. Their funds go toward research and medical equipment and supplies used at the hospitals. Please help me by supporting me as I work to become your next Miss Louisiana and possibly your next Miss America. But more importantly, please help me make miracles happen in the lives of these kids.
