2012 Young Professional of the Year Named

The Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce and its Young Professionals Initiative have named their 40 Under 40 young professionals and, from that number, have chosen the 2012 Young Professional of the Year.  She's Dr. Megan Gardner of Ark-La-Tex Children's Clinic and she's following in the footsteps of her grandfather -- former Shreveport Mayor Jim Gardner.  In the accompanying photo, she's flanked by Chamber Board Chairman Woody Shick and Chamber President Dick Bremer.  The 40 Under 40 were chosen from a field of over 200 nominees.
