The cost is clear in Vivian after 2 KCS trains collided yesterday morning.

One of the trains was stopped on the southbound tracks when it was hit by another southbound train. The conductor of of the trains suffered minor injuries. KEEL news has learned that some of the cars jumped the tracks. It took several hours to clean up the mess. No hazardous material spilled in the area, but some engine oil from one of the trains did spill, but it is not a danger to anyone in the Vivian community. No homes have been evacuated.
