You Can Help Provide Christmas for Area Children
When you were a kid what was the best Christmas present you ever received? I bet for most of you in your mind's eye you quickly remembered the moment of excitement as you ripped open the wrapping paper and discovered that your Christmas wish had come true.
Now can you imagine the joy you will feel knowing that you provided that same excitement for another child? That is what Operation Santa Claus is all about. The annual toy drive that began over three decades ago is back. Townsquare Media/Shreveport has teamed up with the honorable men and women of the Shreveport Fire and Police Departments to provide toys to local children.
We cannot do this without you. We are asking for you to please donate new unwrapped toys. If you are not sure what to buy or do not have time to shop, we understand. You can also provide a monetary donation that will be used to purchase a toy.
Here Is How You Can Help:
Monetary donations can be made at Townsquare Media/Shreveport (6341 Westport Avenue, Shreveport LA 71129) and all Shreveport and Bossier City Citizen National Bank locations. Please make checks out to Operation Santa Claus.
You can also donate through the hotline by calling (318) 773-GIFT (4438).
Our wonderful on-air talent will also be hitting the streets and collecting toys and monetary donations. You can meet them and make your donation at the following locations.
- Thursday, Nov. 29th 7-9am Brookshire's 3000 N Market St (Shreveport)
- Tuesday, Dec. 4th 7-9am Brookshire's 5828 Line Ave (Shreveport)
- Thursday, Dec. 6th 7-9am Brookshire's 1125 Hwy 80 (Haughton)
You can also donate a new unwrapped toy at one of our drop off locations (shown below) during regular business hours. Thank you.
