Santa made it to town! Santa traded out his reindeer for a fleet of Shreveport Police Department vehicles along with the Shreveport Fire Departments big red truck. The fleet made their way to the Townsquare Media Offices in Shreveport. Several lucky students were able to greet Santa and they even toured Santa's workshop where they all received a thoughtful gift from Santa. Today was the kick-off for Operation Santa Claus. Operation Santa Claus is a combined humanitarian effort between the Shreveport Fire department, Shreveport Police departments, and Townsquare Media. The goal is to bring smiles to local underprivileged children through new toys for Christmas.

The toy drive is made possible through donations from people like you who donate unwrapped toys or monetary donations. The toy drive will go until December 15th. The toys will be delivered on Fire Engines, and in Police cars on December 21st and December 22nd. If you want to donate whether it's a toy or a monetary donation you can drop off your donation at Townsquare Media 6341 Westport Rd, 71129, or all Citizen National Banks in Shreveport and Bossier. You can make checks out to Operation
Santa Claus. The donation Hotline number (318) 773-GIFT(4438).
