WWII Aircraft Returning to Shreveport

Some old "warbirds" are coming to visit and you can be a part of the action. The Collings Foundation is bringing its "Wings of Freedom" tour to Shreveport's Downtown Airport next week. From Monday through Wednesday, you'll be able to see a B-17 Flying Fortress, a B-24 Liberator, and a P-51 Mustang. You can even go inside the planes for a cost of $12 for adults and $6 for children with discounts for school groups. Now, if you're really adventurous and can afford it, you can take a flight in any of the planes. A 30-minute flight in either bomber is $425 per person.
