Two 18-Wheelers Crash, Wreck Closes I-20 in Bossier City

I-20 westbound is closed at I-220 this afternoon because a couple of 18-wheelers have collided just west of there.  

City spokesman Mark Natale says a tractor-trailer rig rear ended a tanker truck in the outside lane, crushing the cab of the tractor-trailer.

The driver had to extricated by firefighters but he only had minor injuries and refused to go to the hospital. The tanker truck driver wasn't hurt but his passenger received minor injuries and was taken to the hospital to be treated and checked out.

Natale says the Interstate will remain closed until all of the wreckage can be cleared and towed away.
