
Shreveport NFL Player Gets New Deal to Go Back to Buffalo
SHREVEPORT, LA - Shreveport football star Tre’Davious White is going back to to the NFL team that drafted him in 2017.
ESPN's Adam Schefter says White has a new deal to go back to play for the Buffalo Bills.
Where Did Tre White Get His Start?
White is one of the biggest NFL stars to come from Shreveport. He attended Green Oaks High School where he was a superstar. He played on both sides of the ball. He was a cornerback on defense and he was quarterback for the offense. He was named as a 5 star recruit by Rivals.com. He decided to stay close to home and play college ball for Les Miles and the LSU Tigers.

He was hoping to play wide receiver for the Tigers, but quickly decided he was best suited to play with the legendary defensive back unit commonly known as DBU among Tiger fans.
During his freshman season, White started 11 games and put up some pretty good numbers including 2 interceptions and 55 tackles. He earned a starting spot on the squad.
White has been honored throughout his football career. He was a consensus All-American as a college player. He's also been named to the NFL pro bowl team twice.
White was selected by the Bills in the first round in 2017. He spent 7 seasons with the Bills before the team traded him during the offseason in 2024.
The Buffalo Bills have been a team on the comeback with hopes of making it to the Super Bowl. The Bills made it to the AFC Championship games against the Kansas City Chiefs last season. The Bills finished the season with a 13-4 record.
