What Is Tebow’s Cost Per Yard?

The New York Jets have cut star quarterback Tim Tebow and you might be wondering what the team got for all the money they shelled out to get the Heisman Trophy winner.

Tebow passed for just 39 yards on eight attempts last year. So you can do the math....he made just over $2 million for the season so he was paid close to $54,000 for every passing yard!  The Wall Street Journal did a full report and you can check out the numbers from other quarterbacks.
