Last year, in a move that confused a lot of people from Louisiana, Softsoap came out with a limited edition Mardi Gras scent. No surprise here, but they aren't offering it for sale this year. However, we did a little sleuthing on the internet and we found it for our Mardi Gras-loving friends on several resale sites.

If you've ever been to New Orleans during Mardi Gras, you know it doesn't smell like roses.

Let's be real here. Mardi Gras is all about getting your sin out before the Lenten season. If you've ever experienced Mardi Gras in New Orleans, you know this. Bourbon Street has a nasty soup of vomit, stale peer, and urine coating the streets and permeating the very air by nightfall each day. Why in the world would anyone want to smell like that?

I'll never forget working in radio in New York. They didn't think a Tuesday club night would be successful, so they decided to throw a 'Fat Thursday' party instead because they thought more people would go out. It was obvious they didn't do their research and no one was listening to me, so... Fat Thursday it was. I bring that up because those are the kinds of people that I think would buy this body wash.

You can no longer purchase Softsoap's Limited Edition Mardi Gras scented body wash.

The best, or the worst part about this depending on how you feel about it, is that you can still get the Limited Edition Mardi Gras scented Softsoap body wash via internet resellers like Poshmark, Truegether, Bonanza, and eBay.
