Water Is Back on In Oil City

Oil City residents were without water for several hours after a water main break on Friday. But the water is now back on.

A cable company broke the water main that feeds into the town's water tank.  This caused the tank to drain very quickly leaving the town with now water.

The system serves more than 1200 people.

Crews worked through the night to make the report and get the water back on.

Oil City will be under a Boil Advisory until further notice. Pressure may be low across Town for several hours as the crews make their rounds to flush out lines.
