Contractor Fraud Leads to Arrest Warrants for Shreveport Man

Detectives are actively searching for a man wanted in connection with an ongoing contractor fraud investigation.

SPD are investigating allegations that Elliot Hogan AKA "Baybay" accepted thousands of dollars from a victim for home renovation work that was never completed.

Detectives discovered that Hogan is wanted by the Bossier City Police Department in connection with another theft case. The investigation also shows that Hogan has never had a valid contractor’s license to even perform the work he was hired to do.

At this time, the financial loss between the two known victims is nearly $40,000.

Detectives have arrest warrants for Hogan on one count of Residential Contractor Fraud and Theft.

"Anyone with information regarding Elliot Hogan’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department or Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. Tips can remain anonymous."
