The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research and it’s coming to the Louisiana Boardwalk this weekend. The event held in more than 600 communities annually including right here in Bossier City, invites people of all ages to come out and participate this weekend. The goal, to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Registration kicks off at 8 am Saturday morning at the Louisiana Boardwalk. The BPCC Gospel Choir will be on hand to start the opening ceremony at 9am. The walk is scheduled to kick off at 9:30. Plus, there is no registration fee!
