
Violent Incident Leads to Arrests by Shreveport Police

SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport police arrest two men after violent incident
On September 28th, 2023, Shreveport Police officers were called to a residence in the 1200 block of Norma Avenue on reports of a stabbing. Patrol officers arrived and found one one-man armed with a gun and one man armed with a knife. The two men were fighting with one another, and one man had been reportedly stabbed.
Officers determined that Shemar Jackson (7-14-99) reportedly was responsible for stabbing the other male. The other male was found to be Tory Jackson (4-26-79). Tory Jackson reportedly had threatened Shemar with a firearm. Tory Jackson was found to be in possession of the firearm and was determined to be a convicted felon.
Shemar Jackson was charged with one count of Aggravated Battery and Tory Jackson was charged with one count of aggravated Assault with a firearm and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. No significant injuries found.
We are required to state that suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
