Every time I go and DJ at a wedding without fail "Back That Thang Up" by Juvenile gets requested. I mean who doesn't love a classic hit from 1999 that will get everyone on the dance floor? Turns out Juvenile wanted to come out of hiding and he came out with a banger. This song is one that I plan to blare next time I am on someone's boat on Crosslake.

It's one of those if it ain't broke don't fix it situations, and that's exact;y what Juvenile did, he took a song that he knows took the nation by storm and tweaked the words. I'm not going to say it's a full-on remix it's more of a parody. There is a music video that will have you laughing and it's called "Vax That Thang Up".

Juvenile makes it rain vaccine cards, is that hotter than making it rain $20 bills? The lyrics had me rolling.

“I know you can’t stand it,  no holding hands, chick,  But when we get the shot, wе gonna be romancing. Girl, you can be the queen, aftеr quarantine.”.

Why did Juvenile come out with "Vax That Thang Up"? Well, he teamed up with BLK which is a dating app meant for black singles. The dating app wanted to encourage people to get the vaccine before they go out and start dating. Juvenile, Mannie Fresh and Mia X, all came together for "Vax That Thang Up" and after listening to the song a few times, I am happy they did.

Are we surprised that the song of the summer is about getting the COVID-19 vaccine before you go out and get your freak on? I'm not. Seems fitting for Shreveport-Bossier.
