Upcoming Yogie and Friends Fundraisers

Yogie and Friends Exotic Cat Sanctuary might be closed for the season...but the fundraisers continue. The Frierson sanctuary has a huge rummage sale coming up, but the times have changed. It starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. this Saturday, November 12th. This is an indoor event that will happen rain or shine...and Visa, Mastercard and Discover will be accepted. All this is going on at First Wesleyan Church on Schuler Drive in Bossier City. Lots of clothing, never-before-used motorcycle gear, baby items and much more will be available. Volunteers are needed to help set up, price items, and man the event. If you want to donate items, you can drop those off at the church tomorrow through Friday from 10 a.m. til noon, and Friday starting at noon. And coming on Saturday, December 17th, is what Yogie volunteers call the "area's best" bake sale. That runs from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Petco on Youree Drive.
