Up The Ranks They Go

Bossier City Chief of Police Shane McWilliams today announced the promotions of two police officers. Mayor Lorenz Walker joined Chief McWilliams in promoting the following officers during a ceremony this morning at the Bossier City Police Department.

• Ed Joseph was promoted to the rank of captain. Captain Joseph has been a member of the Bossier City Police Department since 1983 and is assigned to the patrol division as C shift commander.
• Randy Rufty was promoted to the rank of captain. Captain Rufty has been a member of the Bossier City Police Department since 1983 and is assigned as commander of the Criminal Investigations Division.
