On Monday, June 6, 2011, troopers with the Louisiana State Police Criminal Investigation Division in Shreveport arrested two females and charged them each with one count of filing false public records. Both females, who were from Shreveport, were arrested at the Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) in Shreveport for attempting to get a Louisiana identification card for a 19-year-old female with false information.

Following an investigation, detectives learned that on Monday, June 6, 2011, Kourtney Sloan (B/F; age 24) and Jaclyn Moxley (B/F; age 19) both went to the OMV in Shreveport and attempted to get a Louisiana identification with Moxley’s picture but with Sloan’s personal information.

Both females were subsequently arrested by detectives and taken to the Caddo Correctional Center (C.C.C.) in Shreveport and booked for one count each of filing false public records. Sloan and Moxley both admitted they did wrong and that the fraudulent I.D. was meant for Moxley so that she could access clubs for ages 21 and up.

Anyone convicted of filing false public records can be jailed for up to five years and pay a fine not more than $5,000.00. In addition, the subject can be ordered to pay restitution to the state of Louisiana if the state suffered a loss as a result of the offense.

Jaclyn N. Moxley (B/F; Age 19) of Shreveport, LA
