Two Arrested in Shreveport for Attempted 2nd Degree Murder

The Shreveport Police Department's Violent Crimes Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in locating 19-year-old Laanthony Hobley. Hobley is wanted in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on April 17th in the 2700 block of Grassmere Street.

Following the incident, efforts by Detectives led to the apprehension of one suspect, 30-year-old Shuntara Wilson. Wilson has been arrested and is facing charges including one count of principal to attempted second-degree murder and one count of compounding a felony.

However, Laanthony Hobley remains at large. Further investigation has prompted officers to issue warrants for Hobley's arrest on charges of attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of a firearm, and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

The Shreveport Police Department urges anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Laanthony Hobley to come forward and assist law enforcement in ensuring public safety.
