Two local men have been booked into the Shreveport City Jail following the robbery of a Shreveport man Sunday afternoon.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m. on April 19, 2015, a man reported to police that he had been robbed after arriving at a home in the 6900 block of Nevada Avenue.

The man was contacted by one of the suspects, who presented himself as someone in need of the victim's lawn care services. The victim agreed to meet the man at the home, and was reportedly robbed by a second man who arrived a short time later.

The suspects, identified as 21-year-old Kenton Nelson and 32-year-old Ellis Talyor, Jr., allegedly took money from the victim while at the home, then forced him to drive to an ATM to withdraw more money. They fled the scene, only to be caught by police.

Nelson and Taylor were interviewed at Shreveport Police headquarters, then booked into the city jail with one count each of simple robbery.
