How Many Fatal Accidents Happened in Shreveport in 2025?

The traffic bureau of Shreveport Police says there were 36 fatal crashes during 2025 compared to 32 in 2024. There have already been 3 fatal crashes on Shreveport streets this year.

A few of the dangerous spots on the list for this year involve the Terry Bradshaw Passway. Youree Drive is also prominent on the list. Bert Kouns is also a trouble spot in a few locations.

What Are The Top Causes of Fatal Crashes?

The Louisiana Highway Safety Organization says 83% of all fatal crashes can be attributed to four factors:

1. Alcohol
2. Distracted Driving
3. Aggressive Driving
4. Seat Belt not in use
