What Are the Top 10 Hardest Golf Holes in Shreveport-Bossier?
SHREVEPORT, LA - It has been many years since I have played golf. The reason I quit playing was because I was no good. Or at least I thought I was no good. I just got so frustrated playing golf. If I can't be competitive at something, I don't have any fun.
But I really do love the idea of a sport that involves beautiful scenery, shared social engagement and riding around in a cute little cart. And I wouldn't be immune to making a wager or two while playing. But the truth is, I just couldn't get good. And I hear that from a lot of golfers. They often get flustered while playing golf.
What Is So Frustrating About Golf?
I asked several of my friends who play to give me thoughts on the toughest holes in our area. Many of these golfers tell me the things that make a hole difficult have to do with the slope, the trees in the way and of course the bunkers and water hazards. You have to deal with so many obstacles before we even start thinking about hitting the ball in the right direction.
Our list of the top 10 toughest holes doesn't have everyone's top picks. It's an average. One golfer says the #2 hole at Eastridge for ladies is quite challenging because of the approach shot to the green. You have to stay out of the traps by the green on the right and the trees and woods on the left.
