Abbeville's Koryn Hawthorne and Pontchatoula's Meghan Linsey are battling for a spot in the top five on "The Voice"

The Top 6 of "The Voice" season 8 are battling to make it to the semi-finals. The excitement about who will win this season becomes stronger than ever.

Blake Shelton's lone survivor Meghan turned it up a notch with her first song of the night, showing off her blues chops belting out the James Taylor classic 'Steamroller Blues'.

Christina Aguilera said of Meghan: “That was crazy great.”

Meghan closed the show with her Mom’s favorite song ‘Amazing Grace’.

Her coach Blake Shelton said: “Ther’s a new sheriff in town! That was incredible.”

17-year-old Koryn Hawthorne chose the song ‘Everybody Hurts’ to honor her Mom who has been through many struggles.

Karyn’s coach Pharrell Williams told her “You are an inspirational singer.”

She followed that up with the rock anthem “Dream On”

The top 5 will be announced Tuesday night.
