The Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office has confirmed that Tony Procell's body was found in Kisatchie National Forest yesterday in Winn Parish.  They also confirm that they will be upgrading the charges against Natchitoches Police Officer Robert Barthelemy to first-degree murder.

According to KTAL-TV, Procell's shovel and sunglasses were found.  Procell's body was recovered soon after yesterday afternoon.  The body was located near State Highway 156 and Sand Point Road in Winn Parish.

Procell went missing last Tuesday morning when Barthelemy allegedly kidnapped Procell from his home in Many.  He was eventually arrested Wednesday morning after a standoff with Louisiana State Police, the Desoto Parish Sheriff's Office, and the Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office.

The Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office told KEEL News the crime seems to be over a woman.

The Natchitoches Police Department has Barthelemy on paid administrative leave.
