Three Arrested in Human Trafficking Operation
Three people are in jail after an undercover operation targeting human trafficking and prostitution.
According to a news release from SPD, the Shreveport Police Department's Vice Unit, working in collaboration with Agents from the FBI's Child Exploitation Task Force, arrested a trio of suspects allegedly involved in human trafficking and prostitution. Agents conducted the operation in the 4900 block of Monkhouse Drive after a report of suspected illegal activity.
During the operation, 27-year-old Allen Nash, of the 9700 block of Forest Lane in Dallas, Texas, and 19-year-old Rodisha Johnson, of the 300 block of Profit Street in New Orleans, were arrested and charged with a single count of human trafficking. Johnson was also charged with first-offense marijuana possession. A third suspect, 17-year-old Natay Barrett of Dallas, Texas, was charged with prostitution.
Nash and Johnson were booked into the Shreveport City Jail. Barrett was transported and booked into Caddo Correctional Center.
