Thieves in Dallas Steal Tampons

Thieves stole a pile of rejected tampons that could pose a health risk.

Kimberly Clark of Dallas makes Kotex Natural Balance Security tampons and some recently failed the company’s final inspection and were sent to a 3rd party to be destroyed. But somewhere in that process, they were stolen and the defective products were then sold to the public.
Some of the tampons have increased levels of bacteria, the presence of metal particles and imperfect raw materials. The health risk to consumers is low and so far there have been no complaints.
