Texas Man Killed in Crash in Shreveport
A Waskom, Texas man is killed in a crash in Shreveport.
The Caddo Coroner says 37-year-old Raymond Abercrombie has been identified as the pedestrian killed on 3132 early Saturday morning.
Abercrombie Jr was killed when he tried to cross the highway just before 4 a.m. Saturday. The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office says he was trying to cross the road near the Terry Bradshaw Passway and Walker Road exit, when a vehicle hit him.
The driver first thought he it a deer. According to the sheriff's office, Abercrombie was wearing dark clothes at the time of the crash. The crash is under investigation.
