Teenager Shot in Shreveport Drive-By Shooting
Shreveport Police received a call at 8:08pm on Tuesday (2/20/24) in regards to a shooting in the 3300 block of Gorton Road in West Shreveport.

Upon arrival, SPD learned that the situation was a drive-by shooting that injured a 16 year old. The teen was already being transported to a local hospital at the time Officers arrived, and SPD was able to assist by escorting the vehicle to the hospital. The vehicle safely arrived at Oschner LSU Hospital where the young victim was trated for the injuries.

Police are currently interviewing witnesses and combing the area for clues that will lead to the capture of the suspects. At this time, no vehicle description has been given, and information on this case is sparce.
