Teachers Union Head Lansdale Talks DeVos Protest [VIDEO]

Red River United Teachers Union President Jackie Lansdale spoke with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the Monday's protest at the Shreveport office of Senator Bill Cassidy. The Senator has been vocal in his support of President Trump's nominee for Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos, whom the union opposes because of her stance favoring charter schools and vouchers for the disadvantaged students, which Lansdale and the union (as well as most Democrats) vehemently oppose.
