The unemployment rate for the State of Arkansas had a pretty good year in 2023, the overall statewide rate finished the year at 3.4% in December, almost a full point higher than the lowest rate during the year at 2.6% in July, according to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics.
It appears that the HiRE website used by the Louisiana Workforce Commission is functional again and hopefully there'll be no more delay for benefit checks.
