Summer Vacation

For Louisianans who like to travel overseas, there are some places you absolutely want to avoid.

Here are the five most popular destinations people are flying to in the U.S. from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The adventure kicks off from a towering 60-foot start platform, providing panoramic views of the Maurepas Swamp, Lake Ponchartrain, and even the distant New Orleans skyline.

45% have a list because they enjoy doing those thing with their kids - while 44% said it was because they wanted to get their kids away from screens. I guess the other 11% just loves lists.

Louisiana ranks in the top 10 on a good list, coming in at number 9 on 2016's Best & Worst States for Summer Road Trips.

Summertime is here, and parents of school age kids will be trying to find something for their children to do that is constructive and will keep them out of trouble. The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is putting together a FREE program to set those parents' minds at ease.
