With the Red River now predicted to crest at 36.5 feet by Sunday afternoon, the City of Shreveport has decided to cancel some events at venues that would take citizens near the river this weekend.
Sci-Port: Louisiana's Science Center is 15 years old today -- Thursday, November 21st -- and Saturday, the 23rd, Louisiana Public Broadcasting’s (LPB) "Sid the Science Kid" character will be at the Center from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. to help celebrate the birthday with an activity, along with cake and Sci-Port’s famous Liquid Nitrogen ice cream at 10:30 a.m.
