Police standoff

Just before 7am Monday (7/10/23) Caddo Parish 9-1-1 received a call about a shooting in Southeast Shreveport.

The initial call was about a dispute between neighbors, but things escalated to gunfire before the police could arrive.

As officers arrived it was discovered that a female victim was being held inside of the residence against her will.

A Mooringsport man was arrested Thursday morning following a stand-off in north Caddo Parish.

At 5:30am Tuesday (9/14/21) Minden Police Officers were dispatched to a terrifying scene.

Webster Parish Sheriff's Office, along with other agencies dealt with an armed and barricaded individual Thursday (7/22/21).

Shreveport police and Caddo SWAT have been on the scene of a standoff at the intersection of San Jacinto and West College where an armed suspect reportedly is inside a home in the area.
